Catering By Teatime recently catered a wedding reception in one of Northern Virginia’s most popular venues: Old Town Hall in Fairfax VA.

Located in the heart of nationally recognized City of Fairfax Historic District, the hall is neo-classical in style, tastefully combining Tuscan order columns with Federal-style details, such as the fanlight window over the front doors and the round-headed gabled dormers.

Our bride and groom chose white linen chair covers for an added touch of elegance. Appetizers included Assorted Domestic and Imported Cheeses and Crackers, Silver Dollar Crab Cakes with Roasted Red Bell Pepper Sauce, Assorted Bruschetta, and Zucchini Pancakes with Melted Brie.
The dining room features glorious wood floors and wooden beams throughout. It is both elegant and rustic.

Our buffet menu featured Ruth’s House Salad of Mixed Greens-Tomato-Scallion-Pecans-Dried Cranberry-Gorgonzola in a Balsamic Vinaigrette, Grilled Garlic Lime Chicken on Bamboo Skewers, Carved Steamship Round of Beef with Au Jus, Sweet and Sour Meatballs, Garlic Roasted Red Bliss Potatoes, Linguini with Sun Dried Tomato-Cilantro-Parmesan, Green Beans with Almonds, and a Fresh Fruit Arrangement with Seasonal Fruits. The Signature Drink was a Moscow Mule featuring Ginger Beer-Lime Juice-Vodka.
Old Town Hall is located just outside Washington DC, and one of our favorite catering venues. It is the perfect venue for wedding receptions, anniversary parties, birthday celebrations – you name it!

And of course, our beautiful wedding cake. Our bride chose a rustic design with burlap ribbon around the base of each tier set between two stunning floral centerpieces. Chocolate Fudge Cake with Fresh Raspberry Filling. Yum!
