Washington DC Wedding Venues with Teatime Delicacies Catering

2014 was a fantastic year with Teatime Delicacies, Inc. catering company.  As I look out the window on a snowy January 2015 Tuesday morning, it’s nice to reflect upon some of our favorite venues over the past year.  Washington DC is an exceptional locale for wedding receptions as the area includes options in both Northern Virginia as well as Maryland’s Montgomery County.  Both host Historic Properties as many restored older homes turned into venues.
And then there are the winerys.  There are so so many in the Northern Virginia area, and one of the newest and superbly appointed is Stone Tower Winery in Leesburg VA www.stonetowerwinery.com
With a separate building for events, a spacious bar and gathering area on the first level and the dining room on the upper level, this venue provides the complete package.

And the wine rocks as well!!
Heading downtown to Washington DC is one of our favorite hidden gems, St. Francis Hall, www.myfranciscan.org

St. Francis not only provides ample guest parking (highly unusual for a DC venue), it can accommodate upward of 200-250 guest, has a great caterer kitchen, and beautifully restored hard wood floors.  We are excited to be doing a wedding reception here next weekend, and two more in  February.
Back in Fairfax VA, otherwise known as Northern Virginia World, there are two great venues in the heart of Fairfax City.  Old Town Hall, and the Sherwood Community Center are right around the corner from each other.

Both of the venues are rented through the city of Fairfax www.weddingsinfairfax.com
Each has ample parking, catering kitchen, tables and chairs, and as in all venues mentioned allow outside caterers to be brought in.  Sherwood Center is actually two rooms that can be divided or kept open as one larger space as shown in above photo.  Old Town Hall also provides an upper level space than can be used for the ceremony if requested.
Heading a bit south down the road will take you to Woodbridge VA and the beautiful Harbour View Marina.

With magnificent views of the Occoquon River, this Virginia venue is a rare treat that features a water view.  This particular bride and groom wanted a “beach theme” so while it may not have been exactly at the ocean, the colors were positively Caribbean! www.harbourviewevents.com

Back to the countryside in Chantilly Virginia is the bucolic setting of Sunset Crest Manor.
With a mountain view skyline in the background, this is a most peaceful and relaxing venue. The owners have built a separate building for events, with an adjacent stone terrace for the cocktail hour.

I am so tensed these days as I am feeling finding for a nice Wedding Reception Venues is so difficult in a limited budget. In my every search I am finding high budgeted banquet halls in Miami. It seems like that you have spent huge money on your wedding, but can you suggest me some cheap venue?
