a charming venue with two floors which allows for a ceremony to be held
separately from the wedding reception downstairs.  There is a public parking garage 1 block away.

 The upstairs is also used as a display for local art shows as
well as library.  If a client rents both floors, even without having the
ceremony on site, it still provides a respite from the festivities if a
guest wants a few quiet moment.
The guests congregated down stairs for the cocktail hour.

 The full bar was set up in the large foyer of the building. 
Guests enjoyed two signature drinks – white and red sangria along with a
selection of wine, beer and mixed drinks.  Appetizers included
California and Vegetarian Sushi Rolls, Domestic and Imported Cheeses and
Crackers, and Passed Quesadilla Wedges.

 Our bride ordered chair covers with sashes in her colors from a
local Northern Virginia linen company.  Her colors with pink and purple,
and we tied matching ribbons of the same colors on their napkins.

 In addition to the pink and purple ribbons and sashes, the
wedding party were also dressed in complimentary pinks and purples.  It
truly added a lovely dash of color to the vaulted ceiling room and wood
floors.
The main buffet featured Carved Steamship Round of Beef, Chicken
Picatta, Fresh Fruit Arrangement, Green Beans and a Cesar Salad with
Garlic Croutons and Parmesan Cheese.

 Old Town Hall is a favorite venue in the Washington DC area, it
is booked heavily throughout the year, and as it is a county property,
it is a great value to the bride and groom on a budget.
And of course, what wedding reception catered by Teatime would not include a delicious wedding cake?
